About PeBaniiNostri.ro
PeBaniiNostri.ro is an independent platform that checks public procurement in Romania. It runs 10 risk indicators over every purchase to find patterns worth checking: slicing of direct purchases, purchases at the ceiling, new companies, supplier captivity, lack of competition, prices equal to the estimate and year-end spending.
The data is the open procurement data the Romanian Government publishes on data.gov.ro. It is processed automatically, with no editorial intervention. The platform is built for journalists, non-governmental organisations and citizens who want to see how public money is spent.
